How I work
My approach brings together several techniques, chosen and combined for what you need. Every treatment includes assessment and homecare advice as well as hands-on work.
- Deep tissue
- Slower, firmer pressure worked into the deeper layers of muscle.
- Myofascial release
- Sustained pressure and stretch applied to fascia, the connective tissue that wraps every muscle.
- Trigger point therapy
- Focused pressure on tight, tender spots within a muscle.
- Joint mobilization
- Gentle, controlled movement of a joint through its range.
- Swedish massage
- Long, flowing strokes for overall relaxation.
Who I see
Many of my clients are teachers, nurses and other healthcare workers, public servants and police officers.
I work with people dealing with injuries, chronic pain, complex conditions and stress, and with anyone who's new to massage or looking for a new RMT.

ICBC
I bill ICBC directly for massage therapy after a motor vehicle accident. Book the ICBC first visit and bring your claim number.
Good to know
Coverage depends on your plan, so check your benefits booklet or provider app for your RMT limits. The clinic doesn't need a doctor's note, but some plans do. If a plan can't be billed directly, you pay at the visit and get a receipt to submit yourself.
- First visit
- Plan on 60 minutes, including assessment and treatment.
- During treatment
- You're draped with a sheet throughout, and usually only the area being treated is uncovered.
- Payment
- Visa, Mastercard and their debit versions, due at the visit, with a credit card on file to book.
- Cancelling
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged up to the full fee. If you're sick, cancel as early as you can.
